Anna Marandi

Anna is a strategic climate and community resilience expert who embarked on this chapter of her life after an earlier career in film and television where she worked on productions such as Orange is the New BlackMadam Secretary, and on live sporting events as well as documentary style programming for HBO. Since then, she has supported organizations and practitioners at all scales of government (local, regional, state, federal) through her work at the Institute for Sustainable Communities, National League of Cities, and the Pew Charitable Trusts. Anna received an MS in Environmental Policy at The New School in New York City and a BA in Comparative Literature from Boston University. Anna has lived in Canada, France, and Colombia, and speaks fluent French, Spanish, and some Farsi.
