Elena Krieger

Elena Krieger — Science Advisor

Elena Krieger is the director of the Clean Energy Program at Physicians, Scientists and Engineers for Healthy Energy, a non-profit research institute in Oakland which works to bring science to energy policy. She researches strategies to accelerate the adoption of clean energy technologies while simultaneously realizing health, environment, equity and resilience benefits during the clean energy transition. Elena sits on the board of the Carbon Lighthouse Association, a carbon mitigation non-profit in San Francisco. She received her PhD in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University, where her research focused on energy storage for renewable resources, and she holds an AB in Physics and Astronomy & Astrophysics from Harvard University.
