Through our work at American Resilience Project we have been able to help start a conversation about climate change and what it means for security and the future of our country and world. The notoriety our films have garnered has enabled us to reach a larger audience and we hope to continue this impact in the years to come. Chesapeake Film Festival Closes with Awards Ceremony

American Resilience Project was honored to win Best Environmental Short at the 11th annual Chesapeake Film Festival. Over the course of the four day event, 48 films were screened to audiences in Cambridge, St. Michaels, and Easton.

National Resources Council of Maine: National Security Impacts of Climate Change

A panel discussion was held by the National Resources Council of Maine to discuss climate change’s impact on national security. In conjunction with ARP film, “Tidewater”, Executive Director Roger Sorkin had a chance to speak of the flooding occurring in Hampton Roads, Virginia and how it has affected military manuevers.
